PARIS MEN'S AW13 - DAY FOUR

19th January, 2013

DIOR HOMME

What is better than spicing up slightly a formal look such as a suit jacket?

So, the additional element of a zip closing were a three-buttons fastening should be, makes every look intriguely interesting and desirable.

Kris Van Assche (creative director of Dior Homme) is able to keep the famous silhouette launched by his predecessor (Hedi Slimane), but still he is able to add an element of "formal sportswear" through the utilisation of technical fabrics and large (safety) belts around the waist.

Black was the main colour for a very strong collection that will have (for sure) as its best selling item that just named above zipped suit jacket.

And, of course, all those long sleeved Tees and jackets with the "new triangle-encrypted-in-circle" maison logo drawn on them.

HERMES

As we check out the Hermes AW13 show, a research from a global newspaper comes out saying that Hermes is number two in the top parade of most desired luxury brands by Chinese male customers (a.k.a. currently main buyers of fashion luxury products worldwide).

With this in mind, it is easy to find the easiness of all pieces presented by Hermes for AW13: sophistication, richness of details, excellent choice of fabrics and leather for all the garments presented.

And a constant attention to warm colours (and not only black) such as yellow and bordeaux.

Here below our favorite picks from today's AW13 Hermes Men's show.
